Perth wins Valley Division
The Blue Wings opened the scoring at 12:39 of the 1st period on a power play when Harris Tripp scored assisted by Ben Minkus and Gio Falsetti. The Wolves took 7 of the 10 penalties handed out and were out shot 21 to 4. Perth took a 1 – 0 lead to the dressing room.
In the 2nd period the Wings increased their lead when Eric Hebert at 3:48 scored with an assist going to Riley Kane. Then added another one at 8:38 when Josh MacMillan scored assisted by Riley Kane and Eric Hebert. Anthony McVeigh added another at 19:30 assisted by Shawn McGillivray and Nick Held. The Wolves took 3 of the 6 penalties handed out and were out shot by the Wing 20 to 8. The Wings took a 4 to 0 lead into the intermission at the end of the 2nd period.
In the 3rd period the Wolves changed goalies and Richard Barr replace a shell shock Mike Rosebrook who face 41 shots in two periods. There was no scoring in the period. Perth took the 2 penalties handed out and the Wolves were out shot 9 to 4 in the period. The Wings out shot the Wolves 50 to 16 in the game and Perth won the game 4 to 0 and will now go on to meet the winner of the Metro Division.
